Mary Elizabeth Woodyard Lewis, 83, of Vienna, W. Va., died Tuesday, July 1, 2008.
Mrs. Lewis was a native of Charleston, W. Va., who spent some retirement years in Lewisburg with her husband O. F. "Pinky" Lewis before his death in 1986.

Evelyn Joyce Vore, 78, of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at Maury Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Vore was a native of Lincoln County. She was a homemaker, an active member of the Lifesong Family Church, and a member of the Meals on Wheels organization.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus Malone and Clara Prosser; sisters, Marjorie Wakefield and Glenda Peek; and brother, Clayton Malone.

Bobby Mitchell Hardin, 66, of Fayetteville, N.C., died Saturday, June 28, 2008, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Mr. Hardin was a graduate of Jones Training School, Lewisburg. He was a retired Army command sergeant major.

Mr. Parks was a native of Giles County. He served in the Tennessee National Guard, was a farmer and retired from Heil-Quaker corporation.

Will Norris Hunter, 87, of Lewisburg, died Friday, June 27, 2008, in Nashville.
Mr. Hunter was a native of Marshall County. He served with the Army in the Pacific theater during World War II. He was retired from the State of Tennessee and was a life-long member of the Verona United Methodist Church.
