The Forrest Cross Country Team competed in its first meet on Aug. 31 at Sharp Springs Park in Smyrna. The girls placed third out of fourteen teams competing. Receiving individual awards for high placings were Thea Ledbetter, Kensie McKee, Heather Collins, Sarah Martinez and Quintin Watkins.
