Mr. Owen was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Wesley Owen.

Mrs. Tatum was a native of Athens, Alabama and was a daughter of the late James Arthur and Bonnie Lou Dugger Jarrett. She was a member of the Old Lasea Church of Christ in the Pottsville Community.
