Mussels moved before I-65 bridge widening (07/23/07)
Construction to widen an Interstate 65 bridge used by many Marshall County residents when driving to Nashville and elsewhere is to be complete this fall. However, preparations for the work late last year revealed several endangered species of mussels in the Duck River. Senior League All-Star girl's play in state tourney (07/23/07)
Marshall County's 15-16 year old All Stars started their run at the State Tournament Saturday in Maryville. The girls played very well in their first inning of the game against Morristown. But as the second quickly followed and they were tied, 2-2, the girls were unfocused. Many errors were made which unerved the girls further. They went on to lose the game in six innings of play by the score of 15-2...
