Lintz was an All-State selection and the ace of the staff as a pitcher on this year's Tiger baseball team when they went to the state tournament. Clinic robber sentenced to 5 1/2 years (10/08/07)
A Hohenwald man was sentenced to 5 1/2 years in prison Wednesday for robbing North Medical Clinic in Chapel Hill on Dec. 20 when he pepper sprayed the proprietor during the crime. Mickey Morris Murphy, 34, pleaded guilty in Marshall County Circuit Court to Judge Robert Crigler on July 11. Murphy's getaway driver, Derrick Paul Hankins, 19, also of Hohenwald, pleaded guilty on Sept. 24 but has yet to be sentenced...

Their performance of Phantom of the Opera tunes won the Band of Blue first place in their class, Best in Class for Visual Ensemble, Best in Class in Field Commander, and first place overall (16 bands) to bring back to Chapel Hill the "Sweepstakes" trophy...
