Pedestrian dies of injuries after being struck (11/12/07)
A Marshall County man died Tuesday night after being struck by a pickup truck driven by a Bedford County man, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Kyle Patrick Starr, 20, of 3077 Nashville Highway next to Memorial Gardens north of Highway 64, was walking in the roadway of U.S. 31A near Wade Brown Road, according to information filed by Trooper Jack Sutphin...
Ross' widow pleads guilty of Valentine's Day murder (11/12/07)
With a co-conspirator who turned state's evidence on Monday, a Shelbyville car salesman's widow pleaded guilty a day before jury selection was to begin this morning in the Bedford County Courthouse. Kimberly Ann Ross, 38, was sentenced to life in prison by Circuit Court Judge Robert Crigler for her part in the Valentine's Day murder of her husband, Bill, who was shot three times while he slept in his bed at their Wartrace Highway home...
