  • * Forrest fumbles away golden opportunity (High School Sports ~ 05/27/10)
    The Forrest Lady Rockets were in control and on their way to sitting in the cat bird's seat, leading South Fulton 2-0 in the fifth inning in the second round of the Blue Cross Spring Fling before the wheels fell off of their infield defense, sending last year's state runners-up down into the loser's bracket with a 5-2 loss. Forrest committed a total of seven errors in the ballgame.
  • FEMA van at Hardison Office Annex for three days (Local News ~ 05/27/10)
    A mobile office from the Federal Emergency Management Agency will be at Marshall County's Hardison Office Annex Saturday through Monday to help county residents apply for federal assistance in recovering from torrential rain April 30-May 3.
