Without dismissals, Dalton reorganizes Sheriff's Department (09/03/10)
Marshall County Sheriff Norman Dalton's first day in office included at least five hours of overtime as he reorganized several staffing positions and met with all the employees. A state accountant has applied approximately $210,000 from miscellaneous revenue to Lewisburg's Water and Wastewater rate hike calculations and thereby reset the proposed increase in water prices to $7 per month for an average city household. Instead of waiting for complaint calls, Lewisburg Police detectives investigated a Web site offering young women for sexual liaisons and a sting conducted at a local motel resulted in two arrests. As a result of Internet postings, Terri Lynn Clapper, 30, of Springfield, Tenn., and Tiffany E.
