  • * Forrest bounces back over Collinwood (High School Sports ~ 12/23/10)
    Two proud ladies basketball programs met in day two of the Wayne County Christmas Classic Tuesday afternoon with Forrest coming out on top 52-32 over Collinwood. Both teams were coming off first round thrashings and needed to win to build some confidence and move forward in what each hopes to be a resurgent season. "We were a completely different team from yesterday," said Forrest coach Jeremy Jean. "If this team shows up every game, we will have a chance to win every game."
  • $1,000 reward offered in burglary near Holt's Corner (Local News ~ 12/23/10)
    A Marshall County man is offering a $1,000 reward for burglars who took his tools last Saturday morning near Holt's Corner. "The sad part of this is that it is somebody who knew exactly where they were at," Mike Butler said of the 4-7 a.m. crime on Dec. 18.
