    It was a packed house in Wartrace Friday night as the Forrest Rockets and Cascade Champions squared off in an important late season District 9A battle and the two longtime rivals did not disappoint the crowd, playing some old fashioned in your face defensive basketball where a four to six point lead must have felt like a million.

    Forrest knew it was not going to be an easy game Friday night in Wartrace versus a tough Lady Champion squad on their home court and they were correct as Cascade gave it their best shot before falling 47-40 to the seventh ranked Lady Rockets.
