CMS sweeps Richland

Cornersville Middle School came away with a pair of road victories against archrival Richland on Monday night, Nov. 14, as the Lady Bulldogs defeated the Lady Raiders 29-17 in the opener, while the Bulldogs rallied to defeat the Raiders 35-21 in the nightcap to earn their first win of the season. The Lady Bulldogs (7-4) took command of the game early against Richland and built a 15-5 lead in the first half before outscoring the Lady Raiders 14-12 over the final two quarters to claim the 12-point victory.
