Johnson down, but not out
(Local News ~ 07/30/13)
Vanderbilt University announced Monday that former Marshall County High School standout Kedren Johnson has been suspended from school for one year due to what Johnson called in an open letter "a violation of good conduct expected of all Vanderbilt University students." Sources close to the situation confirmed that the violation was not for cheating, academics, or in any way related to the four football players being investigated for sex crimes. Johnson, who will remain in Nashville during his suspension, will have two years of eligibility remaining upon his return to the university next fall.
