The top two teams in District 12AA were squaring off Wednesday night for a chance to win and move on to the district championship game. The Marshall County Tigerettes (18-8) travelled to Pulaski to take on the host Giles County Lady Bobcats. Having split the regular-season series, it was not a surprise that the game came down to the end with the Tigerettes eventually winning 4-2 in eight innings. -

Bulldogs rally for 11-A crown (High School Sports ~ 05/08/15)
Wednesday night, the Cornersville Bulldogs (17-9) captured their second District 11-A tournament title in three years by defeating the Richland Raiders 5-3 in the championship game at Columbia Academy. Cornersville had won all three previous meetings against Richland this season, which included an 11-1 victory in the second round of the tournament five days earlier, but the Raiders put some early pressure on CHS in Wednesday's contest and held a 3-0 lead through the first two and a half innings. -
Rockets sweep 9-A, halt MTCS for title (High School Sports ~ 05/08/15)
The Forrest Rockets made a clean sweep of the District 9-A Tournament, outscoring its opponents 38-9 in three games with the clincher coming Wednesday night in Chapel Hill via a 14-4, run-rule win over Middle Tennessee Christian School (MTCS) in the title game. "I can't take any credit for this, these guys played stellar baseball and worked hard for the past two or three weeks since I have been here and it paid off," said Forrest coach Bart Joyce. "Look at them, they are season champs, district champs and now we are playing Monday in the region tournament, so I am proud of all the players." -
Lady Rockets dominate 9-A (High School Sports ~ 05/08/15)
46-8. That was the aggregate score the Forrest Lady Rockets tallied in a three-game sweep of the District 9-A Tournament in Unionville. "I am elated for them," said Forrest head coach Becky Cheatham. "This has been one of the funnest groups I have ever had the opportunity to work with."
