Clint's Air Care chills another foe (Community Sports ~ 06/05/15)
The return of a Chapel Hill team to the Marshall County Babe Ruth League may not be the best news for the other four ball clubs as Clint's Air Care (CAC) has won its first five games of the season. CAC's latest win came easily, via a four-inning, 11-0 run-rule win over A-Plus Collision Center on Tuesday night. CAC pitchers Dylan Eady and Lane Allen combined to throw a no-hitter versus A-Plus. -
Nichirin claims late-night thriller (Community Sports ~ 06/05/15)
After an 8-0 win over A-Plus Collision Center in its last game, Nichirin was on the other end of the see-saw, trailing 8-1 before storming back for a 9-8 victory over Marshall Medical Center (MMC) Tuesday night at The Jonathan D. Hollingsworth Memorial Babe Ruth Field at Lewisburg. Nichirin's Jacob Freeland was the hero of the night, slamming a two-out, seventh inning double that drove home the tying run, plus the eventual game-winner. -
CMS finishes 2nd in DRVC tourney (Community Sports ~ 06/05/15)
The Mike Tatum coached Cornersville Middle School Bulldogs posted a 16-7 regular season record and were the No.1 seed in the Duck River Valley Conference Tournament at Liberty Middle School where they finished in second place. In round one, CMS hurlers Carson Stacey and Raymond Cooksey combined for a no-hitter, shutting out Huntland, 10-0. The pair combined for 11 strikeouts in the contest as Stacey picked up the win. -

Besides unbeaten Clint's Air Care, Nichirin is the hottest team in the Marshall County Babe Ruth League. Nichirin (5-2) won its third game in a row, beating the Elks 4-2 Wednesday night at the Jonathan D. CAC claims sixth straight win (High School Sports ~ 06/05/15)
Clint's Air Care (CAC) upped its wining streak to six games to start the season Wednesday night, surviving an early scare from Marshall Medical Center (MMC). CAC continued its offensive supremacy, banging out 10 hits in a 10-3 win over MMC. Dylan Pendley posted a perfect 3-for-3 performance at the plate for CAC with three runs scored, an RBI and a stolen base. - ECD Tourism denies requests for supporting contributions (Local News ~ 06/05/15)
