Forrest Middle School, coming off a basketball sweep at Middle Tennessee Christian School on Thursday, brought out the home brooms on Monday, taking a pair from Moore County. The Lady Rockets made it three straight wins with their 31-22 win at MTCS combined with Monday's 54-26 coast-to-coast win over the Raiderettes. Jenna Blanton led the Lady Rockets in scoring with 14 points, including a perfect 8-for-8 effort from the foul line. -

The Bulldogs took to the field Friday night looking to celebrate homecoming with a win against highly regarded Fayetteville City High (7-2, 6-1) after getting handled 56-0 by Columbia Academy the previous week. Page invades Lewisburg this Friday with Region 4-AAAA title on the line Marshall County overcame four turnovers with some clutch plays Friday night at Maplewood, outlasting the Panthers 34-33 in double overtime. "Our team faced a lot of adversity Friday night," Tigers coach Thomas Osteen said.
