LMS garners split against Spring Hill (High School Sports ~ 11/04/15)
The Lewisburg Middle School Tigerettes came up against a young and experienced Spring Hill team and that showed as the Tigerettes didn't allow their opponent to get much going on the way to a 37-7 blowout. The Tigerettes are now 2-0 in the young season with a game against a tough Fairview opponent on Tuesday night. -

The Forrest Middle School basketball season is just more than a third of the way through through schedule and both squads have impressive winning records with the girls standing at 6-2, while the boys are 5-3. Rockets rout Blue Devils 42-0 (High School Sports ~ 11/04/15)
The Forrest Rockets capped a perfect Region 4-AA record Friday night with a 42-0 Senior Night romp over Jackson County at Murrey E. Holton Field in Chapel Hill. "It wasn't pretty. It is what it is," Forrest coach Matt Kriesky said. "There was a little distraction from senior night, but 42-0 -- I can't complain in the end." -
Bulldogs end season with big victory (High School Sports ~ 11/04/15)
Cornersville ended the season with 44-24 victory over rival Richland Friday night at Frog Bottom, extinguishing the bad taste of losing and setting up a promising future for Coach Gerard Randolph's Bulldogs. "It was a tremendous team victory for our football program and a lot of emotions came into play with it being senior night and also our last football game of the year," Randolph said. "If it was going to end a certain way, this group of young men couldn't have picked a better way to come out and play some really good football." -

Tigers punish Page in classic showdown All eyes were on Lewisburg Friday night as media outlets from all over the Mid-State showed up for the battle of Region 4-4A, pitting longtime rivals Page and Marshall County in a championship match with the winner gaining a top seed and home field advantage through at least the first two games of the playoffs. Page (7-3, 4-1) managed to score first in each half, but the game was never in doubt for Marshall County (9-1, 5-0) as it cruised its first region title in 13 years with a 42-24 victory. -
Forrest playoff game moved to Thursday (High School Sports ~ 11/04/15)
The Forrest Rockets' first-round Class 2A playoff game versus Bledsoe County has been moved to tomorrow night at 7 p.m. at Murrey E. Holton Field in Chapel Hill. "We have had a good week of practice so far preparing for a good Bledsoe County team," Forrest coach Matt Kriesky said.
