Fairfield, CT (February 2016)--Concussions have traditionally been associated with high-impact sports like football, and even in this setting, knocks on the head that don't "seem" serious have often been brushed off. However, it's becoming more common to see young athletes of all types being pulled off the field or court for possible concussions. Adam Breiner, ND, says there's a very good reason for increased caution. -

In its last regular season meet, the Marshall County Wrestling Club competed at the "Rumble at the Nest" at Fairview and the grapplers continued its winning ways with 6 out of 10 wrestlers placing in the tournament. "There is something to be said for having the ability to seek out the best competition. -

Slow start grounds Lady Rockets vs. MTCS (High School Sports ~ 02/19/16)
On March 1, 2010 the Middle Tennessee Christian School Lady Cougars broke a an almost decade long losing streak versus Forrest when they pulled off an upset win at East Robertson in the Region 5-A semifinals and since then, the Lady Rockets have lost 8-of-13 to the Murfreesboro private school. The latest setback came via a sluggish 55-42 loss at Chapel Hill Thursday night in the District 9-A semifinals, sending the Lady Rockets to tomorrow's consolation game versus Eagleville (19-8) at 6 p.m.
