Mt. Pleasant tops Lady Bulldogs (High School Sports ~ 03/25/16)
Rivalries don't have to be ancient. From March 30, 2010 to March 27, 2014 the Cornersville Lady Bulldogs dominated District 11-A foe Mt. Pleasant 10-0, but since that 4-2 win at Maury County two years ago, the Lady Tigers have knocked Cornersville out of the district tournament twice and have won four-of-seven games in the series. The latest setback for Cornersville was a heartbreaker, losing 2-0 in 9 innings in Frog Bottom Tuesday night.
