Forrest holds off Viqueens once more (High School Sports ~ 04/15/16)
Community came to the Field of Dreams at Chapel Hill Wednesday night with a lifetime of goose eggs versus the Forrest Lady Rockets and after putting up a mild tussle, the Viqueens fell 7-3, extending their all-time losing streak to 0-36, dating back to 2002. Forrest banged out 13 hits and had six extra base knocks in the game with Samantha King going 3-for-4, while Carson Warner, Lauren Gillespie and Jordan Yelensky all had two hits apiece for Forrest with Yelensky slamming a two-run homerun. -
Rockets finish another sweep over Eagleville (High School Sports ~ 04/15/16)
Forrest completed its third sweep of the regular season series in four years over Eagleville, taking an 11-1 six-inning, run-rule win Wednesday night at Chapel Hill. After bashing 18 hits in their 14-4 win at Eagleville Tuesday night, the Rockets pounded out 13 more hits off four Eagle hurlers in the contest. -

The Forrest Rockets scored early, often and never let up in a big 14-4, six inning run-rule win at Eagleville Tuesday night. The Rockets pummeled two Eagleville pitchers in the contest, banging out 18 hits and scoring at least one run in every inning. -
Harmon scores reporting wins (College Sports ~ 04/15/16)
The accolades for hard work keeping pouring in for Lewisburg's Kayla Harmon as the senior at UT Martin recently picked up two awards from the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System before scoring four more broadcasting awards from the 2016 Tennessee Associated Press Broadcasters and Media Editors' annual college media contest.
