Lady Eagles douse Tigerettes (High School Sports ~ 05/04/16)
The Marshall County Tigerettes welcomed Class A Summertown to Lewisburg last Wednesday night in preparation for the stiff competition heading into the District 12-AA tournament later this week. The Lady Eagles, annually the top dog in District 12-A, have made three sectional appearances since 2010, only to be stopped by Forrest each time. -

Lady Dawgs tear apart Culleoka (High School Sports ~ 05/04/16)
The Lady Dawgs welcomed Culleoka (1-10, 1-6) to Cornersville for its last home game of the 2016 regular season and although just over 16 miles separates the two District 11A opponents, the schools are worlds apart in softball talent and Cornersville (10-6, 5-3) showed why, blanking the Warriors 11-0 before the mercy rule ended the game in the bottom of the fifth inning. -
Tigerettes throw away win at Columbia Academy (High School Sports ~ 05/04/16)
he Marshall County Tigerettes travelled to Columbia Academy Monday night for a last minute matchup due to the rainy weather that caused the cancellation of many of the area's prep events and the game turned out to be good and bad for the Lewisburg girls, who lost 4-2 to the Lady Bulldogs. Good that they played a tight head-to-head game with a quality Class A opponent in preparation for the upcoming district tournament. -
Tigers clip Falcons on senior night (High School Sports ~ 05/04/16)
When you see eight kids on one team stand for senior night ceremonies, it's a little melancholy to say the least when you have seen them grow up on the diamond since Little League. Thursday night at Lewisburg, the Tigers had eight seniors in the starting lineup at Joe George Field and each played a role in a 4-3 win over Lincoln County, breaking a seven game losing streak. -
