  • Busy weekend of football coming up across county (High School Sports ~ 08/12/16)
    It will be a big football weekend in Chapel Hill, beginning with the High School Jamboree on Friday night at the Murrey E. Holton Field. Scrimmage games will be Forrest vs. Centennial, 6 p.m., Spring Hill vs. Centennial, 7 p.m. and Forrest vs. Nolensville, 8 p.m.
  • * Bulldogs look for bounceback year (High School Sports ~ 08/12/16)
    The recent success in football from Marshall County High and Forrest has allowed the smallest high school in the county to be somewhat overlooked with the Tigers making a run to the 4A state semi-finals and the Rockets advancing to the second round of the playoffs, winning its first region title in 29 years, while the Bulldogs limped to the finish line in 2015 with a 3-7 record.
