Bulldogs end preseason on high note (High School Sports ~ 08/17/16)
The Bulldogs picked up right where it left off last season, coming up with a 7-0 win over longtime rival Richland in the third game of the Cornersville jamboree Saturday night at Frog Bottom. Cornersville, which beat the Raiders with ease by a 44-24 score to end last season on a high note, needed just one big play----a 52 yard touchdown catch from sophomore athlete Cameron Whitaker via his classmate Eli Woodard to send Richland home to Lynnville with a loss before the season starts on Friday. -

Forrest alumni crush Champs (High School Sports ~ 08/17/16)
After a close 22-16 win at Murrey E. Holton Field last year, the Forrest alumni football team had the daunting task of closing the two-game series with a trip to Wartrace where they were more than up to the task, blasting the Cascade Champions 28-0. "These last two years have been the most fun I have ever had, playing on this team with great guys," Forrest quarterback Tooter Paul said. "Actually I had never beaten Cascade, so for me to come back and redeem ourselves, you can't beat the feeling."
