FMS Rockets hand Community defeat (High School Sports ~ 09/14/16)
The Community Middle School Vikings invaded Chapel Hill Thursday night and almost pulled off a win over the FMS Rockets, but a big second half propelled Forrest to a hard fought 26-22 win. All the credit goes to Community, they played really hard and are a very physical football team," FMS coach Corey Searcy said. "We told our guys all week that they are the best team in the conference overall---things just haven't worked out for them, but they played well." -

Bulldogs top Raiders on homecoming (High School Sports ~ 09/14/16)
The Cornersville Bulldogs turned the corner on their season Friday night when they demolished Moore County 39-14 on Homecoming at Frog Bottom. "This was a game that left a sour taste in our mouth last year," Cornersville coach Gerard Randolph said. "They really beat our young team up last year, so we wanted to do a better job of competing and responding to adversity and as a staff, we were pleased with the effort that our guys showed." -
Unbeaten Tigers cruise past East Nashville (High School Sports ~ 09/14/16)
The Marshall County Tigers had no problems in Music City Friday night, trouncing East Nashville Magnet School 41-7 to remain unbeaten on the season. The Tigers (4-0, 1-0) jumped out to fast start, scoring two touchdowns in the first quarter before backing those points up with 20 more in the second quarter to open up a wide 34-7 lead. -
Rockets grab milestone win (High School Sports ~ 09/14/16)
The torturing caused by three straight losses to Page is over for Forrest as the Rockets travelled to Rudderville Friday and came away with a solid 21-14 win over the Patriots. "This is the one we have been looking for four years now," Forrest coach Brent Johns said. "This bunch of seniors has had three heart break losses to Page and they came over here and got it done tonight."
