Solomon signs with WKU softball (High School Sports ~ 11/15/17)
The Marshall County High School Tiger football program has been sending at least two players to play major college football the past three seasons and starting with Tigerette Sydne Solomon, the softball team is looking to join the high level signee club. Solomon, a third baseman and catcher for the softball team, signed with Conference USA participant Western Kentucky during the fall national signing period. -

But one Chapel Hill youngster has taken a different path — riding and showing horses for as long as she could walk — Raelynn Williams, just 7 years old, is now taking the hobby to the next level, participating in the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration before competing in The National Academy Championship Horse Show in Murfreesboro November, 3 thru 6. -
Cornersville advances with runaway playoff win (High School Sports ~ 11/15/17)
One of the most exciting aspects of watching a tiny, rural 1A football squad make a deep run in the TSSAA playoffs is watching the town come together to show support to the team and watch history in the making. That was never more evident that on Friday night when seemingly the whole town of Cornersville showed up to Frog Bottom to watch the Bulldogs continue its historic playoff run with a resounding 52-15 win over Grace Christian Academy-Franklin (6-5) and continue on to the quarterfinals. -

Nashville, Tennessee, November 13, 2017 – The Tennessee Titans Mr. Football Awards will be presented to the top football players in nine classifications of the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association on Monday, November 27, 2017, at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. For the sixteenth consecutive year, the top kicker in the state will be recognized with a Mr. Football Award, regardless of classification. -
