The Lady Bulldogs entered Friday night’s game against Zion Christian with only one loss on the season and most Cornersville (7-1) fans expected win number seven to come relatively easy against the Eagles. The Eagles finished last season 0-21 including a 48-point loss to the Lady Bulldogs in Cornersville and a 44-point loss at home to the Lady Bulldogs in which the maroon and white opened up a 46-8 halftime lead resulting in a running clock the entire second half. -
Bulldogs fall to Zion Academy (High School Sports ~ 12/06/17)
The Cornersville boys entered Friday night’s matchup versus Zion Christian Academy with just one win in its first three games, but stepped on the court with an entirely different lineup in the fourth game of the season. In just over 24 hours after playing for the Class 1A football championship in Cookeville, six players dressed out with the basketball team that made major contributions on the hardwood last season. -
