Evelyn Luna Phifer, 92, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at NHC-Lewisburg. Evelyn was born on August 20, 1925, to Leroy and Gladys Thompson Luna in Marshall County, TN. She was a longtime resident of the Milltown community with her husband Bennie. They owned and operated Mid-State Upholstery until Mr. Phifer’s death in 1984. Ms. Phifer was a member of the church of Christ. She loved quilting, crossword puzzles, and you never found her home without a pot of coffee brewing...
