  • * Lady Rockets blanked by Cascade (High School Sports ~ 08/24/18)
    The scoring woes continued for the Forrest Lady Rockets Tuesday at the Lions Club Memorial Field in Chapel Hill as the Cascade Lady Champions pitched a 7-0 shutout in their first game of the season. Forrest (0-3) has been shutout in all three games it has played this season by a combined score of 10-0. The Lady Rockets lost their season opener 1-0 to Loretto and Fairview blanked Forrest 2-0.
  • * Rocket alumni win Battle of North and South (High School Sports ~ 08/24/18)
    The guys just wanted to play football and that’s what they did Saturday night at Chapel Hill when the Forrest and Cornersville alumni put on their helmets and chinstraps again in a renewal of the Battle of the North and South presented by Alumni Football USA. Forrest, sparked by two long kickoff returns for touchdowns by Rockets’ game MVP Troy Turner, beat the Bulldogs 33-12 on a rain-soaked Murrey E. Holton Memorial Field.
