The Forrest Rockets’ golf team swept a tri-match versus Hickman County and Columbia Academy Tuesday at Henry Horton with the Lady Rockets winning 91-93 to remain undefeated on the season at 9-0, while the boys took a 181-202 victory. “I’m really happy with both teams to be honest,” Forrest coach Andy Burkett said. “Our boys have made some big strides this season, a lot of the guys that are playing this is their first year playing golf, so I could not be more proud of them seeing them really start to take to the game, find a love for the game and just see them play well with all the practice they have been putting in.” Columbia Academy did not have a girls team, so it was Forrest versus Hickman County and the match was close the entire nine holes before Chapel Hill prevailed in the end. -
