Forrest finishes strong (High School Sports ~ 01/04/19)
Since taking over the head coaching position at Forrest, one thing Jeremy Jean has not been scared to do is put together a challenging schedule before the Lady Rockets get into district play. 2018-19 has been no exception as the Lady Rockets beat DII powerhouse Baylor by 11, recent 2A state champion Martin Luther King by 10 points, and lost a two-point contest to 3A Oakland, one of the largest high schools in Tennessee. -
Tigerettes dominate Lady Panthers (High School Sports ~ 01/04/19)
Following an opening round win over Scotts Hill at the Above the Rim Tournament at Hickman County High School, the MCHS Tigerettes returned the following day for a semifinal matchup against Lewis County, who had taken care of Harpeth the previous day. Although the final score of 45-32 in favor of Marshall County alludes to a semi-close ballgame, the Tigerettes dominated from the opening tip and emptied the bench early enough for the Lady Panthers to make the final score appear closer than the game really was. -
Tigers drop close one (High School Sports ~ 01/04/19)
The last time Marshall County participated in the Above the Rim Christmas Tournament at Hickman County High School the Tigers lost a close contest to Ravenwood in the championship contest. The Tigers would face another 3A school with a championship berth on the line after taking out Harpeth in the opening round. -
