The Forrest Lady Rockets lost 56-40 to the Community Viqueens in the District 12-AA Tournament consolation game on Monday, sending them on a long road trip to meet the District 11-AA champion Stewart County Lady Rebels in Friday night’s Region 5-AA Tournament opening round satellite contest. “I expect my team to go to Stewart County and play hard, compete, and execute like we are capable of doing,” Forrest coach Jeremy Jean said. “If we do those things, we have a chance to get the win.” -
Nolensville escapes to win back-to-back D12-AA titles (High School Sports ~ 02/22/19)
The Marshall County Tigerettes came tantalizingly close to breaking the jinx versus Nolensville Monday at Chapel Hill in the District 12-AA Tournament title game. The Tigerettes couldn’t hold on to a four-point lead with 24 seconds left in regulation and had a chance to win in overtime, but a potential game-winning shot spun out of the hoop and the Lady Knights prevailed 49-46. -
Tigers fall in epic D12-AA overtime title tilt (High School Sports ~ 02/22/19)
The Marshall County Tigers and Nolensville Knights navigated a collision course to the District 12-AA title game, inevitably meeting to decide the championship at Forrest Tuesday night. The Tigers took the initial D12-AA title last season and won the final one they played in the old 12-AA over Giles County before re-districting prior to the 2017-2018 season. -
