Quick strike Tigers get their revenge on Wildcats (High School Sports ~ 09/10/19)
The Marshall County Tigers played in a rare Thursday night contest at Tullahoma and the change did not bother them in the least as they destroyed the Wildcats 30-6 to exact some revenge from a pair of losses last season to Tullahoma, including a season-ending playoff loss. “We had to do stuff quicker this week, we didn’t quite get as many reps as we are used to in practice, so hats off to the kids for absorbing the game plan when we had less time to put it in,” MCHS coach Thomas Osteen said. “By no means did we play perfect, but I feel we controlled all three phases of the game tonight.” -

Williams’ game winner gets Bulldogs back on track (High School Sports ~ 09/10/19)
The Cornersville faithful made the trek into Jack Daniels country at Lynchburg Friday night to the Moore County High School campus where the Bulldogs faced the Raiders. It was the opening game of Region 4A competition for both teams that saw the Bulldog defense stand tall, allowing just one Moore County touchdown in the game. Cornersville only scored one touchdown also, but a Jackson Williams 41-yard field goal with six seconds left in the game enabled the Dawgs to take down the Raiders 10-7.
