Bobby Gene Campbell

Bobby Gene Campbell, age 65, of Morristown, Tennessee passed away on Sunday evening, August 27, 2006 at Morristown Hamblen Hospital after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born on February 28, 1941 in Grainger County and was retired from Berkline Industries. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #231.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Maggie Mae Campbell and two sisters, Judy Conway and Rosie Lamb and one brother Doyal Campbell.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Joann Campbell; sons, Bobby Joe (Emily) Campbell of Lewisburg, Doyal (Sabine) Campbell and Timothy L. Campbell of Morristown; daughters, Angela Cornett, Tammy (Kenny) Hawley all of Morristown, Regina (Terry) Strange of New Market, and Debra Cribbs of Alabama; two step-children, Gary Yount and Patricia (Sis) Brown of Morristown; seventeen grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, sisters Faye Coffman and Imogene (Sterling) Howerton of Rutledge, Joan (Fred) Oliver of Bean Station, Troy (Leann) Campbell, and Evelyn (Charles) Frye of Morristown. Brothers-in-law Grant Conway and O. C. Lamb; several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation with the family was held on Tuesday, August 29, 2006 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at 2 p.m. with Benny Burns officiating. Burial followed in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
