Marshall County deputies traveled 25,318 miles while responding to 478 requests for service and serving 469 warrants and summons during the month of August. The warrants ranged from one wheel tax violation to 235 summonses. Requests for service ranged from two assaults to 38 false residential alarm calls. Deputies also responded to 37 domestic violence calls, 33 suspicious person calls and 31 false 911 calls. Deputies provided traffic control at 41 locations and arresed and charged four subjects for driving under the influence.
Corrections officers booked and processed 178 inmates and traveled 4,005 miles while transporting 35 inmates to various locations and 15 subjects to mental health facilities. The jail housed 71 inmates for the City of Lewisburg. Inmates worked 5,501 hours of volunteer service assisting other agencies and 243 hours of volunteer service cleaning the roadsides of Marshall County. The daily average population for August was97. Currently the jail houses 75 males and 25 females.
