In need of pumpkins, mums, straw, or custom mixed paint? Chapel Hill Hardware, located at 305 Horton Highway, has all this and more. Owner, Gerald Byrd, will be joined by partner, Hugh Williams, when their Spring Hill location, they ran for four years, closes in October.

" I like Chapel Hill because it's something different and a growing community, " said Byrd," there's not much here now, so I decided to come give them something."

Chapel Hill Hardware has an 11,000 sq. ft. sales area and five employees ready to help. A little bit of everything for plumbing, electrical, and hardware is offered. The popular line, Polar King Clothing, is available.

Aerators, tillers, grass cedars, and pressure washers can be rented at $25 for two hours, and $10 for each additional hour.

Byrd encourages everyone to come to the Grand Opening, Saturday, Sept. 23, from 11 am to 2pm. Many items will be on sale, free hot dogs and drinks will be served, and door prizes, such as tools and flashlights will be given at 12pm and 2pm.

" We will run sales sometimes on end cap items, and we look forward to seeing you," said Byrd.
