MCCT players rehearse their lines for the upcoming Saturday mainiees

Step back in time and see a matinee at the Dixie any Saturday in October. The Marshall County Community Theatre is presenting Alexander Who's Not, Not, Not, Not, Not, Not, Not Going to Move. While the show is aimed at young audiences, adults wil soon be captured by the hilarious antics of Alexander, his family, his friends, and his neighbors as they deal with the fast approach of moving day. Every Saturday at twelve noon, audiences will be wowed by this very entertaining, very positive show.

Characters in the show are portrayed by Charleigh Beth Cagle, Rachel Jeter, Nathan Dumser, Evan Cross, Like Collins, Sarah Polston and Ashley Cross. All of these actors have performed in other plays, musicals, or choral concerts and bring with them the ability to entertain audiences. Autographed pictures will be available to children after the show.

The Alexander books written by Judy Viorst, were brought to life by a commission from the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The first book, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad day, was seen at the Dixie this winter to rave reviews. This new production is also sure to garner praise from its audience.

The cost of the one-hour musical is $3 for each attendee. Supervised children are welcome; that's what it's all about! Grab your children, a few dollars, and join us for Saturdays at the Dixie in October.
