Saddle Creek Golf Club held their 5th annual American Heart Association Golf Classic, Thursday, Sept.14.

Sponsors B & W Excavation, LLC and Tim Harrison Industrial Contractors, presented checks to the Heart Assocition for $2,500 each.

Private donations were also accepted. Eighty golfers attended the luncheon and four-person scramble tournament, with prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

" We really appreciate everyone's involvement," said Tony Beyer, Golf Classic Chairman.

American Heart Association-funded research developed CPR, automatic external defibrillators, and clot dissolving drugs, to name a few. This is especially important to Tennesseans, having one of the highest mortality rates form cardiovascular disease.
