Betty June Bennett Cozart, age 76, resident of Verona Caney Road in Lewisburg, died Wednesday, October 4th, 2006, at her residence.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cozart were conducted Friday, October 6, 2006 at 11:00a.m. at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Rev. Aubrey Knois officiating. Burial followed services in Lone Oak Cemetery. Family visitation took place on Thursday, October 5th, from 2:00-8:00p.m. at Bills-McGaugh Funeral home.

Mrs. Cozart was born in Marshall County and was the wife of the late, Joe Frank Cherry and later to the late, Thomas Ezra Cozart. Mrs. Cozart was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tabitha Newby. She was a retired private sitter and former employee of Red Cedar and a member of the Berean Baptist Church. She was also a professional grandmother.

Mrs. Cozart is survived by her daughters, Jackie Mitchell of LaVergne, TN, Jane Dawson, Velvet Ring, Twilla Miller all of Lewisburg. Sons; Paul Frank Cherry and Ricky Cherry both of Lewisburg. Sister; Juanita Estes of Lewisburg. Brothers; Bobby Bennnett of Lewisburg and Donald Bennett of Huntsville, AL. Granddaughters; Tish Harrington of Thompson Station, Pamela Denise Cherry of Hunstville, AL., April Cheyenne Webb of Lewisburg, Beth Boyte and Brandy Dawson also of Lewsiburg. Cathey Tucker of Culleoka. Grandsons; Anthony Wayne Cherry of Chapel Hill, Nicholas Andrew Webb of Lewisburg. Six great grandchildren also survive.

Pallbearers included; Anthony Cherry, Ronnie Estes, Buster Ring, Jackie Dawson, Nicholas Webb, and Keith Holt.
