Notie is hereby given that a special meeting of the mayor and council of the city of Lewisburg is called to held on Tuesday, October 24, 4:00 p.m., Lewisburg City Hall, 131 East Church Street, for the purpose of considering and taking such action as the Countil may deem necessary and to the public interest relative to the following items of business:

1. Consider development of roadway within Castano Park Subdivision

We waive any other or further notices of the holding of said meeting.

City of Lewisburg Alcoholic Beverage Commission

The City of Lewisburg Alcoholic Beverage Commission will meet Monday, October 23, at 1:00 p.m. at the Lewisburg City Hall building, 131 East Church Street, to consider the following:

Community Development Block Grant Public Meeting Notice

Thursday, October 26 * 5:00 p.m.

Marshall County, Tennessee will hold a public meeting at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2006 in the Commission Room of the Marshall County Courthouse Annex to discuss the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program administered by the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the guidelines of the program and to solicit input from area residents regarding potential uses of CDBG funds. CDBG funds can be used for water line extensions, water system improvements, housing rehabilitation, and other community development projects such as fire protection, rural health departments, job training, etc.

All residents of entities with potential projects are encouraged to attend this meeting or mail suggestions to County Mayor Joe Boyd Liggett, 1108 Courthouse Annex, Lewisburg, TN 37091. Marshall County does not discriminate. The location of the meeting is readily accessible to persons with disabilities.
