Mr. Robert Rufus Greer

Mr. Robert Rufus Greer died September 30, 2006. He was born May 18, 1940 to the late John Lee Greer and Fannie Mae Johns-Greer. In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by his son Roderick Lee Greer; sister, Lorane White; brothers John Lee Jr., Elmer, and George Greer.

He is survived by a devoted wife, Ella M. Greer; daughters, Pamela (Frank) Joyce, Jo Ann Batts, and Theresa Greer; son, Bobby Greer; two sisters, Elnora McCain and Mary (James) Mitchell; nine grandchildren, Stacey Batts, Shareka Holbert, Tiffany Anderson, Jennifer Williams, Laquesha Greer, Audrey Spencer, Franzell Batts Sr., a very devoted grandson, Jonathan Greer and Nicholas Greer; ten great-grandchildren, Tiki Batts, Keandra Batts, Joey Batts. Amaya Anderson, Fronzerea Batts, Fronzell Batts Jr., Trevon Beas;y, Andreous Bryant; eight sister-in-laws, Josephine Greer, Odesser (Richard ) Murray, Argaither Lesile, Gladys (John) Smith, Lillie Frances, Slyvia and Shirley Batts; three brother-in-laws, Floyd Batts, Burnice (Rachel) Batts and Melvin Batts; one aunt, Fannie Davis and an abundance of neices, nephews, cousins and friends.
