Lewisburg Air Evac pilot honored at regional awards ceremony

Peter Patton, a pilot with the Lewisburg Air Evac Lifeteam crew, was recognized as Pilot of the Year during Air Evac Lifeteam's Regional Awards Banquet held August, 26th in Nashville Patton received a plaque in recognition of his distinguished service.

"Peter was nominated by his peers because he consistently exhibits professionalism, concern and commitment for his crews and patients and an unmatched dedication and awareness of safety issues concerning his aircraft," said Air Evac Vice President of Aviation and award presenter James Loftin. "He has often been sought as an unbiased reference for aviation information and is always willing to give an objective view of any type of situation that may arise at the base or within their service area.

"Peter is a true example of commitment to Air Evac's mission," Loftin added.

Air Evac Lifeteam is a membership-supported air ambulance company that provides emergency care and rapid medical transport to rural communities throughout the central U.S. The company operates 64 bases in eleven states, including nine in Tennessee.
