Mr. McKinley McIntosh, 65, former long-time resident of Canton, Michigan, died Friday, October 27, 2006 at his home on Buena Vista Avenue in Lewisburg.
Funeral services for Mr. McIntosh was conducted Saturday, October 28, 2006 at 3:30 PM at the Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Aaron Swanger officiating. Burial will be in the Lone Oak Cemetery. The family received friends from 2:30 PM until service time at the funeral home.
The Jackson, Kentucky native was the son of the late William and Sallie Spicer McIntosh and husband of Edna McIntosh. He was retired from Ford Motor Company in Livonia, Michigan which he was a member of the UAW. Mr. McIntosh was of the Church of God faith. He was an avid woodworker, former apple-picker and enjoyed playing the guitar and singing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 4 daughters, Sally McIntosh, Sandra McIntosh, Joanna Brock, and Kenni McIntosh all of Lewisburg, TN; 2 grandchildren, Michael Charles McKinley Brock and Elizabeth Edna Brock; 2 sisters, Mary (Cecil) Owens and Oma McIntosh both of Plymouth, MI and Nancy Turner of Jackson, KY; a brother, Luther (Thelma) McIntosh of Stanton, KY; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Bertella McIntosh and Gertrude Hall; a brother-in-love, Robert McIntosh; a son-in-law, Michael Anthony Brock.
Pallbearers were Perry Muse, Joey Burton, his daughters and 2 grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers were Sally McIntosh, Sandra McIntosh, Joanna Brock, Kenni McIntosh, Michael Brock,, Elizabeth Brock, Aaron Swanger, Joey Burton, and Johnny Turner.
