Mr. Edward B. Gentle, Sr. and Dr. Linda M. Gentle and Ralph D. and Dorothy V. Grubb wish to announce the marriage of their children, Amy Elisabeth Gentle and Brooke Charles Grubb on October 22, 2006 at the Randolph Street Church of Christ in Huntsville

Alabama. A private family ceremony was held.

Brooke is a graduate of Ogemaw Heights High School in West Branch, Michigan. He graduated from the University of Michigan with honors in 1990. He worked for the Marshall County Sheriffs Department for nine years. He graduated from the Nashville School of Law in 1998 with honors. He became Assistant District Attorney in January of 1999, for the 17th Judicial District, a position he still holds. He joined the ROTC program at the University of Michigan. He was deployed to Iraq from November of 2004 to November of 2005. He was a company commander; and received the Bronze Star and Silver Star along with his Golden Stirrups. He was promoted to Major in 2005.

Amy is a graduate of the Madison Academy High School in Huntsville, Alabama. She graduated from David Lipscomb University, with her BA in 1987. She graduated from Auburn University, with her MLA in 1995. She received her Doctorate of Jurist Prudence from the Birmingham School of law in 2002. She is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the American Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Alabama Trial Lawyers Association and the Sigma Delta Kappa sorority. She currently is a partner in the Lamar and Associates Law Firm in Huntsville, Alabama.
