Forrest Middle School Boys

Boys Basketball

Coach: Todd Garrison (3rd year)

Assistant: Davy McClaran

Coach Todd Garrison came to Forrest via Wilson Central and Johnson City where he coached for seven years. Coach Garrison calls the job at Forrest, "the perfect situation for me because assistant coach Mac is so easy to work with. I enjoy the developmental matters at this level."

2005 -2006 Record (6-10)

Coach Garrison said the unfortunate injury to Parker Holton late last season forced his squad to develop quicker and he was able to get some of his boys more playing time out of necessity. The Rockets made some noise in the World Tourn-ament as they took some tough teams to the wire before bowing out.

Outlook for the Season

The FMS Rockets hope to improve on the 6-10 mark from a year ago with a more veteran crew. Coach Garr-ison said, "We have eight 8th graders who will all see playing time this season and we should be very competitive in all our games." We played a tough pre-season schedule and we are already seeing some early season results."
