Forrest High School plans basketball homecoming

The Forrest High School Student Council is planning the 2nd annual Basketball Homecoming. Scheduled for Friday, December 1, Homecoming Day will see the Lady Rockets and Rockets take on F.C. Boyd.

In addition to the games and the traditional crowning of the 2006 Basketball Homecoming Queen, the student body will also crown the first ever Basketball Homecoming King. The crowning ceremony is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. The senior queen candidates are Tiffany Anderson, Katie Stubblefield, Steffi Gaskill, Kalah Mathis, and Kayla Hargrove. The senior king candidates are Andy Burkett, Chase Beaulieu, Brian Whitley, Chandler Gentry, and Sathawut Srisaranukrom. Freshman attendant is Caanan Raines; sophomore attendant is Amanda Evans; junior attendant is Brittany Sweeney.
