Edna Mae Fagan

Mrs. Edna Mae Fagan, age 72, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee died Wednesday, November 29, 2006 in Lewisburg, Tennessee after an extended illness. Mrs. Fagan was a native of Bedford County and was a daughter of the late Arthur Horace and Edith Wortham Molder. She was a member of the Forrest High School Class of 1952 and attended Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. In addition to being a homemaker, Mrs. Fagan previously was employed with Genesco, Inc. of Chapel Hill, served as the bookkeeper of the family business, Fagan Trucking of Chapel Hill and was last employed by the Home Town Shop in Chapel Hill. She was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Claude Molder.
Mrs. Fagan is survived by husband, Herman Fagan; son, Ricky Fagan: daughter, Cindy Fagan, daughter-in-law, Amy Fagan, all of Chapel Hill; sisters, Dorothy Darnell, Lewisburg, TN, Helen Molder, Chapel Hill, TN, Duane Haskins, Bell Buckle, TN, Nelda Cook, Chapel Hill, TN; two special grandchildren, Caitlin and Cale Fagan, both of Chapel Hill.
Visitation was held Friday, December 1, 2006 at Lawrence Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, December 2, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Youngman and Rev. David Bradley officiating. Burial was in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill.
Lee Darnell, Jerry Haskins, Larry Molder, Avery Burden, Kenneth Elmore, Hoyte Haskins, Carlton Ellis and Houston "Bucko" Bryant served as active pallbearers.
Members of Forrest High School Class of 1952 served as honorary pallbearers.
