Katie Beard visits Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Katie Ellen Beard, daughter of Rollie T. Beard of Lewisburg and granddaughter of Wilson L. (Buck) Beard of Belfast marched in the 80th anniversary of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City on November 23, 2006.

Katie was one of 50 girls chosen from Mobile Alabama to represent the Azalea Trail Maids. She is a senior at Mobile Christian School and senior class president. Azalea Trail Maids serve as ambassdors for the City of Mobile.
