The City of Cornersville will hold a public meeting Thursday January 4, 2007 in the Cornersville City Hall to discuss the Commumnity Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program.The purpose of the meeting is to discuss guidelines of the program and to solicit imput from area residents rgarding potential usess of CDBG funds. CDBG funds can be used for water line extensions, water system improvements, housing rehabilitation and other community development projects such as fire protection, rural health departments, job training, etc.
The Town of Chapel Hill Board of Mayor and Aldermen will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, January 11 and Tuesday January 16 at 6PM at the Chapel Hill Police and Fire Department, 119 North Horton Parkway, Chapel Hill to hear the Public Concerns on the 20 Year Proposed Urban Growth Plan.
