Mary Lee Edwards, age 94 of Farmington died Sunday morning January 7,2007 at her home.
Mrs. Edwards was a native of Marshall County, and the daughter of the late Charles Watson and Josiephene Stafford Higdon. She was a homemaker and retired farmer, and she was a member of the Wilson Hill Church of Christ.
She is survived by one, Billy Wayne Edwards, Sr. of Farmington; Three grandchildren, Billy Wayne Edwards, Jr.(Beverly), Norma Jean Shirley(Randall), and Chandler Edwards(Michelle). Five great grandchildren; David McCoy, Amy McCoy, Kimberly Shirley, Jamie Shirley, Amber Edwards, two great great grandchildren; Alyssa Cole and Joseph Cole, and a dear friend, Nell Scott also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Edwards; Three brothers, Sam Higdon, John Higdon, and Charlie Higdon; Three sisters, Pauline Higdon Williford, Louise Higdon White, and Wilma Higdon.
Funeral service swere conducted on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Bryant cemetery.
The family was at London Funeral Home for visitation on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday until the funeral hour.
London Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
