Mr. Mark Kennedy Goodman, age 86 of Cornersville, died Monday, January 8, 2007 in St. Thomas Hospital.

Mr. Goodman was a native of Marshall County, Tennessee and son of the late John Marlin, Sr. and Katherine Kennedy Goodman. He was a 32nd degree Mason and member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Lewisburg. Mr. Goodman was well known for his handmade dulcimers and banjos.

He is survived by his wife, Orma Goodman of Cornersville, daughter, Len (Randal) Cavnar of Lewisburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry Goodman and Marlin Goodman, Jr., and sister, Marie Beech.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with Barry Fralix, Stephen McCollum, Wayne Morgan and Ronie Thomas officiating. Burial was in Beechwood Cemetery.

The family was at London Funeral Home Wednesday after 3:00 p.m. and Thursday until the funeral hour for visitation.

Pallbearers were Sam Smith, Alfred Stacey, Sr., Buddy Quinn, Alfred Stacey, Jr., Brian Stacey and Michael Ervin. Honorary bearers were the Men's Bible Class Lewisburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
