Mr. Boun Souphom passed away January 19, 2007 at the age of 69. Mr. Souphom moved to the U.S. in 1978 where he lived in Kentucky for 2 years and lived in Montgomery for 25 years. While in Montgomery he worked at Rheem and the Cracker Barrell. He was also self employed for 15 years and moved to Tennessee in 2002 to raise broiler chickens for Tyson. He trained as an Army Ranger in Ft. Benning, GA. for the Thai Army and was stationed at Ft. Knox for several years.

He is survived by a wife Khamla Souphom, Shelbyville, TN and formerly of Montgomery; four children, Candy and spouse Jason Freeman, Shelbyville,TN, Sisay and spouse Mary Allison Souphom, Montgomery AL, Pete and spouse Loth Souphom, Shelbyville, TN and Khanxay Souphom, Atlanta, GA.; five grandchildren. He is also survived by 12 brothers and sisters, all of Thailand.

Funeral services will be Sunday January 21, 2007 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Southern Memorial and a visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Sunday.
